Barış Alimgil is an accomplished engineering leader and energy-sector executive with over 15 years of international experience in LNG-to-Power, renewable energy, utility-scale power systems, and major infrastructure projects. He has successfully delivered complex projects across Asia, Africa, South America, the Middle East, and Europe, consistently combining technical depth with strong commercial and strategic insight.

Driven by the vision “Innovation Meets Experience,” Alimgil founded BSM Energy to provide world-class engineering, EPC/EPCM, project development, feasibility, and consulting services. Under his leadership, BSM Energy has rapidly grown into a trusted regional partner for renewable energy, energy storage, and gas-to-power solutions.

Career highlights include:

* Serving as Project Manager and Engineering Manager within NEOM-ENOWA, leading BESS, PV, wind, and microgrid development initiatives
* Acting as Technical Director at Karpowership, overseeing more than 50 km of transmission line construction and the commissioning of over 2.5 GW of onshore and offshore LNG-to-Power assets
* Leading the engineering, installation, and commissioning of FSRUs, steel gas pipelines, flexible gas transfer systems, and offshore mooring projects in Brazil, Senegal, Mozambique, and multiple other regions
* Managing contracts exceeding 450 million USD, supervising EPC/EPCM interfaces, procurement strategies, risk assessments, and technical coordination
* Delivering due diligence, HAZID/HAZOP/QRA studies with major global partners such as MOL and Shell
